Cleaning carpets with white vinegar
Did you know that you can also use white vinegar to clean your carpets? It is really simple: mix half a cup of vinegar with half a cup of water and put the mixture on the stains in the carpet. Let it sit and soak for a little while and then dab at it with a dry cloth. Extra tip: if your carpet is a bit smelly, white vinegar can help! Fill an empty spray bottle with some water. Then add two tablespoons of vinegar and one teaspoon of baking soda. Shake the mixture briefly and then spray it onto your carpet. Leave it on for a few hours and then vacuum the carpet. This way you can be sure that your carpet smells fresh again and all unpleasant scents have disappeared!
