What you need:
- Hot water
- Baking soda
- Detergent (optional)
That is how it works
You don’t even have to scrub for it! Remove the grilles from the extractor hood and place them in the sink. Sprinkle baking soda over it and then some washing-up liquid if there is a lot of caked up fat. Then switch on the hot tap and ensure that the gratings are submerged in water. Let this withdraw for about half an hour.
Soak up fat
In the meantime, you can clean the rest of the extractor hood with the baking soda mixture. After the filter has been submerged for more than half an hour, take the washing-up brush and brush off the remaining grease and dirt. The filter then looks like new again. Handy!
