Sponge in the fridge
We all know it’s important to eat enough fruits and vegetables. One of the downsides is that they all spoil quickly in your fridge. For example, green beans, broccoli and strawberries lose all of their important vitamins and other healthy nutrients within 1-2 days! This is really unfortunate, because we’re all eating them because of their healthy nutrients. But how can these be lost so quickly? Very simple: because of the moisture in your fridge. Your fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator absorb the moisture, causing it to lose its freshness. Fortunately, there is a simple trick you can apply to keep everything nice and fresh. All you have to do is put a sponge in your fridge!
How it works
By placing a sponge in your fridge, the moisture that was previously absorbed by the fruit and vegetables is now absorbed by the sponge. Simply put a few sponges at bottom of the fridge drawer and your fruit and vegetables will stay fresh and crisp much longer! Place a couple of sponges next to each other and change them about once or twice a week. That’s it, you don’t have to worry about the lack of freshness anymore! In any case, we will try!
